Ms. Alessa who arrived at Kyoto University
On April 3rd, Ms. Alessa Castillo, MEXT Scholar from Belize, has started her research at Kyoto University.
She has given us a message as follows: "I feel very grateful and fortunate for the opportunity to further my studies at Kyoto University as a research student through the MEXT scholarship program. I am glad that Belize and Japan have a good relationship and I wish to strengthen that relationship by promoting cultural exchange. I also wish to gain knowledge from conducting a research revolving around using mathematical models to improve transportation efficiency towards Belize’s benefit. Japan is one of the leading countries in transportation planning, so learning from the experts there is a great experience that I can’t wait to be a part of."
