Introduction of Japanese e-Learning Contents by Japan Foundation (New Content Added)

The Japan Foundation (JF) is introducing various e-learning contents for beginners in learning Japanese. As a first step in your Japanese language studies, we invite you to take advantage of the following contents to discover the culture and language of Japan. (As of October 2021, the new content has been added to IRODORI course.)

Japanese e-Learning MINATO

MINATO offers various online Japanese courses:
  • MARUGOTO Japanese Online Course - This course is for learning Japanese language skills comprehensively, offered as part of MINATO. Registration (free) to MINTO is required to take the Marugoto Japanese Online Course.
  • Hiragana and Katakana Course
  • Kanji Course
  • Anime and Manga Course
  • Shodou (Calligraphy) Course
  • Kadou (Flower Arrangement) Course

Japanese Online Course IRODORI

IRODORI - JF has launched a series of new online Japanese courses for people who want to work and live in Japan, or are interested in learning Japanese for daily life. Using videos and a wide variety of illustrations and audio, you can learn Japanese for daily life situations. The new Elementary 2 (A2) level has been introduced in October 2021 in addition to the existing Elementary 1 (A1) level. Further levels and explanatory languages will be released as they become available.
