Official Launching Ceremony of Commemorative Stamps Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV) in Belize

On October 22, Ambassador of Japan Kazuhiro Iryu attended the Official Launching Ceremony of Commemorative Stamps celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV) in Belize. The ceremony was held at the Belize City Campus of the University of Belize. The Stamps were unveiled by Mr. James Gabourel, Postmaster General of Belize Postal Service and Mrs. Michiyo Hashiguchi, JICA Resident Representative in Belize.  Ambassador Iryu made congratulatory remarks on the JOCV’s 20th anniversary and commemorative stamps symbolizing the amicable and cooperative relationship of both nations contributed through the JOCV activities in two decades.
