Handing-Over Ceremony of Books for Japanese Studies from JICA to the University of Belize

 On April 7, Ambassador of Japan  Iryu  Kazuhiro together with JICA Resident Representative Mr. Sasaki Juichiro attended the Handing-Over Ceremony of books for Japanese Studies from JICA to the University of Belize at the Belmopan Campus, where the University’s Interim President Dr. Vincent Palacio, and the Director of Institutional Advancement Mr. Egbert Irving and others were present. Representative Sasaki explained the background of the donated book set “Iwakura Embassy 1871-1873” and other Japanese related books.  Ambassador Iryu made congratulatory remarks and expressed his expectation of  further collaboration with the University that commenced by  "JICA Program for Japanese Studies  (JICA Chair)" in March 2021.
