Japan Day 2022

On Sunday, October 30th, the first face-to-face Japan Day event in three years was held in collaboration with the Japanese Community in Belize, the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Belize and our Embassy. At the opening ceremony, Ambassador IRYU Kazuhiro gave a speech, noting that this year is the 40th anniversary of Japan-Belize Diplomatic Relations and hoping to further strengthen the bond between the two countries. Over 1,000 people attended and experienced the Japanese Culture (Karate demonstration, rice cake pounding, calligraphy, cosplay contest and much more).
