On February 2nd, Ambassador IRYU received a visit by Hon. Rodwell Ferguson, Minister of Transport, Youth and Sports along with other ministry officials. Among the topics discussed were matters related to youth, sports, and transportation.
Ambassador Iryu also announced that the Japanese Government has designated the year 2024 as the "Japan-CARICOM Friendship Year" and expressed his wish for Japan and Belize to have further discussions on youth, sports, and transportation.
