On March 14th, Charge d’Affaires , a.i. Nobuyuki Shirakata visited the Corozal Town Hall to pay a courtesy call on His Worship Mayor Rigoberto Vellos. Mayor Vellos welcomed Mr. Shirakata, and reiterated his gratitude for the provision of garbage trucks under the Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Project in 2020. He also expressed his wish in receiving JICA's Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV) to the Town.
Mr. Shirakata expressed his hope to further promote and strengthen the relationship with Corozal Town.
