Reception to celebrate the Emperor’s Birthday

　On March 1st, the birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan was celebrated in Belmopan with the attendance of approximately 70 guests, including Her Excellency Dame Froyla Tzalam, Governor-General of Belize, and the Honorable Eamon Courtenay, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Immigration.  Authorities from the Belizean government, senators, members of the diplomatic corp and representatives of the Japanese Community also attended the reception. The guests had the opportunity to enjoy sushi and sake as promotion of the Japanese culture.
