Mayor Wagner and Ambassador Shirakata
On June 7th, Ambassador Shirakata, paid a courtesy visit to His Worship Mayor Bernard Wagner, at the Belize City Council. Mayor Wagner expressed his gratitude to the Government of Japan for the provision of 2 garbage trucks under the Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Project to assist in the sanitation of the city.
Ambassador Shirakata and Mayor Wagner reiterated their hope in strengthening the relationship between Japan and Belize City.
