Courtesy Visit to Mayor Ladrick Sheppard

 On June 19th, Ambassador Shirakata paid a courtesy visit to His Worship Mayor Ladrick Sheppard, at the Orange Walk Town Council. Mayor Sheppard expressed his gratitude to the Government of Japan for the provision of garbage truck under the Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Project and dispatch of several JICA volunteers to the Town.
 Ambassador Shirakata and Mayor Sheppard reiterated their hope in strengthening the relationship between Japan and Orange Walk Town.
