Visit to Fyffes banana farm

On July 6th, Ambassador Shirakata visited the Fyffes banana farm, one of the world's leading banana producers and marketers, in the Stann Creek District. The company is headquartered in Ireland and has been part of the Sumitomo Corporation since 2016. Mr. Leighton Hoban, General Manager of PMS, who oversees production in Belize, gave a briefing on the company's production and exports in Belize.
