Courtesy visit to Mayor Jorge Rosales

 On August 22nd, Ambassador Shirakata visited the Benque Viejo del Carmen Town Hall to pay a courtesy visit to His Worship Mayor Jorge Rosales. This was the first courtesy visit from the Embassy of Japan to the town since the opening of the Embassy in 2019, and Mayor Rosales gave a warm welcome to the Ambassador and his staff. Ambassador Shirakata and Mayor Rosales expressed their expectations for the future development of friendship between Japan and the town.
