Japan Day 2023

On Sunday, November 12th, the annual Japan Day was held at the Ramada Princess Hotel in Belize City by the Japanese Community, JICA Belize Office and the Embassy of Japan in Belize. The opening ceremony featured an address by Ambassador Shirakata and demonstrations of Karate, Aikido, and dance. The event also featured Yukata (summer kimono), calligraphy, origami, stage performances and a cosplay contest, making it a day full of Japanese colors.
