On December 13th, the Embassy of Japan hosted an anime screening of Makoto Shinkai’s “5 Centimeters per Second” at Alvin L. Young Nazarene High School in San Jose Succotz Village, Cayo District.
Students studying animation at the school, which is the only school in Belize with an anime creating course, commented that the screening provided a good opportunity to deepen their understanding of Japanese animation production and anime culture.
