Handover ceremony of books donated by the Read Japan Project to the Ignacia Cacho Library and the National Heritage Library

On May 15th, Ambassador Shirakata attended the joint handover ceremony of books donated by the Read Japan Project to the Ignacia Cacho Library and the National Heritage Library (Belmopan City) that was held in Dangriga Town, Stann Creek District.
This project is organized by the Tokyo Foundation and donate books on various topics related to Japan that are selected from a list and thereafter distributed to libraries around the world for the purpose of understanding Japan and expanding their library collection.
In Belize, this is the second donation following the Leo Bradley Library in 2023.
