Japan ✖ Belize Baseball DAY

On August 9, Mr. Kobayashi, the consular officer at our embassy, attended a ceremony to present baseball equipment at Roger Stadium in Belize City.
This ceremony was organized at the request of Mr. Shouya Morita, a second-year student at Kyoto Municipal Kyoto Technical High School in Kyoto City, who was a former student of Mr. Kazutaka Shiiba, a member of the JICA volunteer who is currently promoting baseball in the area.
Mr. Morita, with the help of others, prepared a full set of baseball equipment and donated it to the Belize Baseball Federation.
