JAPAN DAY 2025

On Sunday, October 26, Japan Day was held at the Belize City Civic Center. The annual event, organized by the Japanese Community and JICA Belize Office, and co-hosted by the Embassy of Japan in Belize, recorded its largest turnout to date with over 3,000 guests in attendance.
This year featured the debut of the Japan Day Band, along with captivating performances by the Belize Music Academy & Arts, Fusion Nippon, and Loreto Pelayo Quartet Jazz Band, bringing extra rhythm and excitement to a fun-filled day experiencing Japanese culture including food, martial arts (karate and sumo), and anime.
Furthermore, the cosplay contest was a great success thanks to amazing masterpieces presented by contestants.
