Reception to celebrate the Emperor’s Birthday on February 23rd

　On February 23^rd, the National Day Reception celebrating the birthday of His Majesty The Emperor of Japan was held in Belize City with approximately 70 guests, including Her Excellency Dame Froyla Tzalam, Governor-General of Belize, and the Honorable Francis Fonseca, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Education, Culture, Science and Technology. Other notable attendees were the Leader of the Opposition, Hon. Dr. Moses “Shyne”Barrow, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Valerie Woods, Senators, Members of the Diplomatic Corps and Representatives of the Japanese Community also attended the reception. The guests had the opportunity to enjoy Sushi and Sake as promotion of the Japanese food culture.
