MEXT Scholarship: STUDY in JAPAN

Japanese government (Monbukagakusho; Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT)) scholarship supports foreign students who study in higher education institutions, selected on the recommendation of Japanese Embassy.

MEXT Scholarships for 2027 Intake: Application is OPEN

The Embassy of Japan in Belize is pleased to announce that the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan is offering scholarships to Belizean nationals for the following categories:
  • Research (Graduate Studies) Students
  • College of Technology (Kosen) Students
  • Specialized Training College Students
These scholarships are for studies commencing in April 2027 or September/October 2027. Please note that there is no allocation for Undergraduate Students for Belize.

Applicants are required to submit hard copies to:

Office hours: 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m. (Monday–Friday)
 
Written Examination
